I (Zach) propose creating a testbed in the OJC office as follows: Node A - connected to the Internet. Node B - connected to a machine acting as a server. Node C - connected to a machine acting as a client. Node D - a CD-ROM node. So it'd be nice to pair each of our test nodes up with a cheapo computer which can be connected to the test node's ethernet as well as to the serial port of the node for diagnostics. Does OJC have 2-3 cheapo computers for this purpose. I can find space to set it all up. A 4 port KVM would be useful do we have one? Should we buy one? Is there another node "role" that we need to implement on our test network? We could also just have a "disconnected node" that isn't connected to a computer that we can move around the office to create different adjacencies. We should have a cron job that runs nightly and builds a new flash upgrade image and installs it on all the test nodes and reboots them all and then runs some tests. I can make this. Reasonable?
